Mary A. Nolan – Cumberland

Mary A. Nolan, 86, of Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018, surrounded by her loving family and in the presence of God.

She was the beloved wife of Raymond Nolan. They were happily married for 64 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Bridget (Cantwell) Lee. Mary had lived in Cumberland since 1969.

She was very generous to a number of charities that were dear to her heart. What Mary enjoyed most of all was the time she spent with her family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Nancy Vezina and her husband, Paul, Steven Nolan and his wife, Mary Jane, Carol Nolan-Paul and her husband, Rick, Tracy Nolan-Leclaire and her husband, Kris, and David Nolan and his wife, Kristen; her brother, Thomas Lee; and five grandchildren, Steve Nolan, Cody Paul, Lauren Leclaire, Violet and Callan Nolan. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Thornton.

The funeral will be held Monday, Sept. 24, at 9 a.m., from the O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in St. Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours Sunday, Sept. 23, from 3 to 6 p.m., in the O’Neill Funeral Home.
