Police ID man who robbed Salvation Army; public asked to help find him

NORTH PROVIDENCE – Police say they've identified a man who allegedly broke into the Salvation Army store on Smith Street and stole coins, but haven't caught him yet.

On Nov. 6, police sent out a request to post the surveillance photos of a person responsible for a breaking and entering into the store. Shortly after the distribution of the photos, police learned that the suspect is Adam Rogers, age 44. His last known address was in North Providence.

An arrest warrant has been obtained for Rogers, who is pictured here from a previous arrest.

Deputy Chief Arthur Martins is asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of Rogers to call them at 401-231-4533.
