Holiday Festivities at the Leon Mathieu Senior Center

PAWTUCKET – There are a number of events happening at the Leon Mathieu Senior Center this December.

On Friday, Dec. 7, at 12:30 p.m., the center will host a Holiday Sing Along.

Join for festive caroling, cookies, and hot chocolate.

On Friday, Dec. 14, at 12:30 p.m., the center will host its annual Holiday Party with musical entertainment from Bo Dees Circle of Music. Refreshments will be served.

Holiday-themed baskets will be raffled off during the party. The cost is $2 per person.

Sign-up in the second floor office at the center.

The Little Leadership club will visit the center on Friday, Dec. 21, at 12:30 p.m.

Local 4th- and 5th-graders will visit and make holiday-themed ornaments with the seniors as well as sing carols. Students will be visiting monthly to help further develop leadership skills and provide an opportunity for students to get involved in their community.

On Friday, Dec. 28, at 12:30 p.m., the center will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Tea Party.

All seniors 55+ are invited to the programs mentioned.

Light refreshments will be served at each event.
