F.A.C.T. will hold community meeting

PAWTUCKET – The Fairlawn Against Crime Team will host a community meeting on Tuesday, April 23, at 6 p.m., at St. Luke Church, 670 Weeden St.

At this meeting, Zoning and Code Enforcement Director William Vieira will present an overview of his department’s responsibilities, explain how concerned residents can report zoning and code enforcement violations, and describe the process the city follows in addressing reported violations, such as mattresses on sidewalks, junk cars, or uncovered trash bins on properties in the neighborhood.

City Councilor Tim Rudd also will be present and provide a report on the status of pertinent issues currently being considered by the City Council. All Fairlawn residents are invited to attend.
