Diana Lee O’Hara – Woonsocket

Diana Lee (Small) O’Hara passed away peacefully on April 26, at Landmark Medical. Born on September 9, 1949, in Woonsocket, R.I., she was the daughter of Alice Lesieur and Leo Small.

Diana was a dedicated, caring CNA for many of years at the Greater Woonsocket Visiting Nurse Service, now known as Visiting Nurse Service of R.I. Diana was so passionate about caring for her patients that she had an newspaper article written about her and her dedicated service to her patients in The Woonsocket Call. She was known to all who knew her as having a generous heart, especially to all the neighborhood kids, who fondly called her “Mama Dee.” She will always be remembered and admired for her sense of fashion, and her hat collection!

She is survived by a son, Joseph Rattie Jr., a daughter, Lori (Rattie) St.Sauveur, along with her husband Rodney, all of Woonsocket. A stepdaughter, Dawn O’Hara of Bristol. Her beloved grandchildren, Britany McDermott, Tyler St. Sauveur, Jacob Rattie, Jenna Rattie, Jillian Rattie and Annabel Botelho.

She is also survived by her sisters Jacqueline Silva of Maine and Kathleen Woods of Central Falls, a brother Robert Dubois, of Florida, also a stepbrother, Normand Dubois of Florida. Diana is the former wife of Joseph Rattie Sr., William Lamb and Albert O’Hara. She will be dearly missed by all of her nieces and nephews and her close friends.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial be held Thursday, May 9, 2019, at 10 a.m in All Saints Church, 323 Rathburn St., Woonsocket.
