William E. Bushee – Cumberland

William E. Bushee, 84, formerly of 1 Mendon Road, Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, in the Kent Regency Nursing Home, Warwick.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Helen (Flynn) Bushee. Bill was a resident of Cumberland for more than 30 years, previously residing in Providence.

Bill attended daily mass at the La Sallette Shrine, Attleboro, Mass. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. Bill was also a pet lover of Taurie and Lilly.

He was employed as a forklift operator for the former Almacs Warehouse for over 40 years. Bill was a member of the Teamsters Local 251, East Providence.

He is survived by his brother, Robert R. Bushee (Barbara A. Wilson), of Port Charlotte, Fla.; one step-daughter, Kristen L. Desvoyaux of Cumberland, and the apple of his eye Ava L. Audette, his grand-daughter. He is also survived by the rest of his loving family: Cheryl Bushee of Cumberland, Lori and Ken Curry of Warwick, and Kevin Bushee of Warwick, Ellen Lane, Joseph Bushee, William Bushee and Dennis Bushee, all of Maryland. He was the brother of the late Joseph Bushee and the uncle of the late Robert Bushee.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to William's Life Celebration to be held on Friday, June 7, with Visiting Hours from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon, in the St. Aidan-St. Patrick Parish, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
