City resident to be tried for child molestation

WOONSOCKET – City resident David Delgado, 31, was recently indicted on one count of first-degree child molestation and three counts of second-degree child molestation, according to report released by the office of Attorney General Peter Neronha on Tuesday, July 2. The charges stem from incidents that allegedly occurred within the city between October 2016 and April 2018. The Woonsocket Police Department conducted the investigation. Delgado is scheduled to appear in Providence County Superior Court on Sept. 4.
