Hunter education classes at Beagle Club

CUMBERLAND – The Cumberland Beagle Club is running one of three face-to-face/classroom Hunter Education classes in Rhode Island, where students can interact with instructors as opposed to taking a computer course and an exam.

The class dates are this coming Tuesday, Aug. 20, or Thursday, Aug. 22, both from 5:30 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Children are highly encouraged to attend and can be as young as 10, but can't get their card until they reach 14 years. Women, now the fastest growing segment of all outdoor sports, are welcome. The class is free, but please call and reserve a spot in advance. Call Frank King at 401-934-2755.
