Ten years for The Breeze in Pawtucket

Ten years for The Breeze in Pawtucket

Ten years ago this past Monday, The Valley Breeze Pawtucket edition delivered its first newspapers to local stands. The front page stories that day were about a giant statue of Jesus being taken down at the former Sacred Heart Church and more than 750 residents appealing a controversial tax revaluation. There were also stories on a Pawtucket man who lost 206 pounds and a recap of the Greek Festival.

I’ve written about Pawtucket’s story in every edition since, and I’ve loved every day of it. Thanks to you, the readers, for allowing us to be a part of your weekly routine and keeping yourselves informed about what’s going on in your city.

Here’s to many more years.
