Thelma L. Pare – Lincoln

Thelma L. (Perkins) Pare, 89, formerly of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2019, surrounded by her children.
She was the wife of the late Roland C. Pare, Jr.

Born in Cullman, Ala., she was a daughter of the late Thomas Street and Vida E. (Burks) Perkins.

Mrs. Pare was a disabled Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Navy from 1951-1953. She was employed with the Lincoln School Department for 25 years,

She is survived her sons Craig T. Pare and his wife, Barbara, of Greencastle, Ind., and Douglas P. Pare of East Providence, R.I.; her daughter, Robyn L. Pare, of Silver Spring, Md.; grandson, Alexander T. Pare, and several nieces and nephews in Cullman, Ala.

The family will receive family and friends on Friday, September 13, 2019, from 9 to 10 a.m., at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Historic St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Road, Cumberland.
