Lincoln woman named VP of membership for ALPFA

WARWICK - Rulla Nehme-Malko, of Lincoln, was named vice president of membership of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting of Rhode Island, a national professional association dedicated to enhancing opportunities for Latinos in the accounting, finance and related professions.

In her new position, Nehme-Malko is responsible for growing and maintaining membership in this newly formed chapter.

"I have a passionate commitment to increase opportunities for Latinos," said Nehme-Malko, "and I'd like to invite the professional and business sectors of Rhode Island to be a part of ALPFA Rhode Island. As a local organization, we create opportunities by building relationships for our members, the community and our business partners."

Nehme-Malko speaks four languages, three fluently; helping business owners and individuals in both the Hispanic and Middle Eastern communities achieve their financial goals. She has received numerous awards and high levels of recognition nationally for her achievements and has appeared in several national broadcasts and videos. She lives in Lincoln.
