PAWTUCKET VETERANS COUNCIL invites all city residents to an 11 a.m. ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park on the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and Exchange Street.
General Brian Goodwin will honor four Korean War veterans with the Appreciation Medal from Seoul, Korea. In case of inclement weather, ceremonies will move inside the Major Walter Gatchell VFW Post #306 on the corner of Blake and Fountain streets. Members of the Pawtucket Veterans Council will convene a business meeting immediately following next Wednesday's patriotic ceremonies.
