CUMBERLAND - A concert of sacred hymns of the Russian Orthodox Church will be presented Friday, May 16, in honor of the centennial of the Holy Dormition Orthodox Church in Cumberland Hill.

The hymns will be performed in English by the Spirit of Orthodoxy Choir, Aleksei V. Shipovalnikov directing.

The concert is being held in St. James Church, 24 Hamlet Ave., Woonsocket, starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 adults, $7 students and seniors, and free for children 10 and younger.
