Cumberland steps up court fines collection
CUMBERLAND - The Cumberland Municipal Court has begun a campaign to collect unpaid traffic fines, town officials are reporting.
Notices are being sent out to motorists who owe traffic fines to the court. Motorists are being given 30 days to pay the balance due; otherwise, their names will be submitted to a collection agency for further action.
Additionally, local police are being provided with the names of motorists whose licenses have been suspended due to non-payment of fines.
If you have any questions, you can reach the court clerk at 728-2400, ext. 154.
