Diabetes support on Wednesday
PAWTUCKET - The Diabetes Support Group, an ongoing group of individuals with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, will meet at Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Sayles Conference Rooms 2 and 3. The support group meets regularly on the first Wednesday of each month.
The members of the Diabetes Support Group are encouraged to share experiences and learn about diabetes management from each other. A registered, licensed dietitian coordinates the group.
Linda Carro, a registered dietitian, will review the glycemic index and discuss healthy, delicious food choices for the autumn holidays.
