Sale of designer bracelets to benefit Home and Hospice Care of R.I.

PROVIDENCE - Artist and designer Elaine Porter Clare has designed Hearts & Hands for Hospice spiral bracelets to benefit Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island.

Inspired by the recent loss of her father, Seldon Nelson Porter, Porter Clare developed Hearts and Hands for Hospice "in grateful appreciation for the compassionate care given to her and her family by Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island."

Porter Clare has blended Swarovski crystals, semi-precious beads and hand-crafted glass into spiral, one-size-fits-all bracelets. They are available in four colors, each carrying a different meaning. Black and white represents strength; blue and white, compassion; purple, spirit; and earth tones, comfort. Each bracelet is accented with a silver seagull charm and an "Elaine Porter Collection" charm. They are packaged in a blue velvet drawstring bag with a memory card to honor loved ones.

Bracelets are priced at $29.95 each, which includes shipping and handling for call-in orders. A sterling silver heart with claw clasp suitable for engraving is available for an additional $5. Call 415-4217.
