Samaritans hot line needs volunteers

PROVIDENCE - In order to keep The Samaritans of Rhode Island's hot line open 24 hours, volunteers are needed.

An introductory session for volunteers begins on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 6 to 7 p.m., and training continues on Nov. 5, 10, 12, 17, 19 and 24, from 6-9 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church, 1 Benevolent St.
