Group therapy for children with ASD now offered at Meeting Street

PROVIDENCE - Meeting Street is now offering therapeutic groups that address the needs of children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Seven different groups, based on age and ability, are being led by highly qualified Meeting Street therapists and educators.

Group participants will focus on a variety of skills including social skills, behavior regulation, effective communication and group interaction. The groups are being coordinated by Connie Rinehart, a speech/language pathologist and expert in the provision of therapeutic services for children with ASD, who recently joined the staff of Meeting Street's pediatric outpatient therapy program. Groups are held at Meeting Street's campus at 1000 Eddy St.
