FCC amateur radio examinations to be held

NORTH SMITHFIELD - The Blackstone Valley Amateur Radio Club will host FCC amateur radio examinations on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Slatersville Congregational Church. All three license class levels will be offered including Technician, General, and Extra Class. The sessions will begin at 9 a.m. Complimentary coffee and doughnuts will be provided starting at 8:30 a.m.

The next meeting of the BVARC will be held on Monday, Nov. 30 at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island, Route 146A. The meeting will get under way at 7:30 p.m.
