Fall book sale at library set for Saturday

NORTH SMITHFIELD - The Friends of the North Smithfield Public Library announces its annual fall book and bake sale will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the library.

All books, videos and audiotapes will be on sale for 25 cents, and a variety of homebaked goods will also be for sale. Also on sale will be the Friends cookbook, "Favorite Recipes from our Friends," for $10. Proceeds will be used to support the library collections and educational and entertainment programs. Donations of baked goods will be accepted on Friday and Saturday.
