Gardening workshop offered at library

NORTH SMITHFIELD - The North Smithfield Public Library will host a gardening workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. in the Greenwood Community Room. Master gardener Lee Menard will offer information on caring for holiday plants, such as poinsettia, cactus, amaryllis and paperwhites.

Menard is a 2007 graduate of the University of Rhode Island master gardeners program and gardened at home for years. She will give tips on how to have beautiful blooms to be enjoyed throughout the season.
