Catherine E. Pickett - Smithfield

She was the wife of the late Carlton R. Pickett. Born in Hazelton, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Adam and Mary (Griscons) Lawson. Catherine loved playing bingo at the Senior Center and her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She leaves her daughter, Nancy Terry and her husband Brian of Smithfield, and four grandchildren, Thomas, Kristen, Amanda and Matthew Terry. She was the sister of Joseph Lawson and his wife Marlene of Coventry and the late Cecilia, Edward, Albert, Dorothy, Eleanor, Mary and James.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Philip’s Church, Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Smithfield Senior Center.
