Raymond N. Leone - Smithfield

Raymond N. Leone, 87, of Pleasant View Circle, Greenville, died Jan. 14, 2010, at the VA Medical Center in Providence.

He was the husband of Edna (Baxter) Leone. Born in Smithfield, he was a son of the late Domenic and Mary (Beauchemin) Leone. Ray was a maintenance supervisor for the Smithfield School Department for many years, retiring in 1988. He was a World War II veteran, serving with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Besides his wife he leaves a sister-in-law, Dorothy Baxter of Warren as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
