Rita M. Marcil - North Smithfield

She was the wife of the late Normand Marcil. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Alexandrina (Beaudoin) Choiniere. Rita had been an employee of General Electric in Framingham, Mass., retiring in the early 1980s. She will be remembered as a devoted caretaker to her husband during his lifetime. Rita was also a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Smithfield. She leaves several nieces and nephews. Four brothers, Albert, Leo, Armand and Paul Choiniere and three sisters, Albina “Babe” Romano, Laura Jodoin and Dorilda Hammond, preceded her in death.

Her funeral was held under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
