Robert E. MacKenzie - Cumberland
Robert E. MacKenzie, 83, of Pawtucket passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010.He leaves his wife, Jacqueline MacKenzie. Born in Windsor, Vt., he was the son of the late Edward and Cecelia (Carvey) MacKenzie. Mr. MacKenzie was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was an office manager for Nabisco for several years before retiring. He was the treasurer at Fogarty Manor in Pawtucket for several years. He leaves six children, Robert MacKenzie and his wife Pam of Milton, Vt., Richard MacKenzie and his fiancé Tana of Rochester, N.Y., Robin MacKenzie of Johnston, Randall MacKenzie and his wife Terry of Harrisville, Rae Marie Schofield and her husband Jim of Cumberland and Ronald MacKenzie and his wife Sue of Woonsocket; a brother, Dick MacKenzie of Shelborne, Vt.; two sisters, Barbara Jewett of Burlington, Vt., and Helen MacKenzie of Florida; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He also was the brother of the late Mary Freeman.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at 10 a.m. in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. Arrangements are by the O’NEILL Funeral Home, Cumberland. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
