PROVIDENCE - The Rhode Island College SummerArt program is offering several two-week art workshops for children ages 5-16. The program features workshops designed to provide a relaxed yet stimulating environment in which students can explore their creative interests.

Most classes are held in the Rhode Island College Art Center. SummerArt dates are July 7-17, Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon. Classes are offered in mixed media for ages 5-7 and ages 8-11, sculpture for ages 8-11, clayworks for ages 9-13 and drawing for ages 12-16.
