SMITHFIELD - The Senior Center announced its schedule of upcoming events:

* Thursday, May 8, from 11 a.m. to noon, Financial Exploitation seminar with a representative from Tri-Town Community Action Program.

* Friday, May 9, free cooking demonstration with Chef Jen. Sign up in advance.

* Tuesday, May 13, free concert with All in A Chord sponsored by The Village at Waterman Lake. Tickets can be obtained in the gift shop.

* Wednesday, May 14, Dr. Joseph Lifrak will discuss new options for knee replacement at 10 a.m.

* AARP driving training class, scheduled for June 25-26. Sign up in advance. Class costs $10.

* Day trip to Twin Rivers for a "Mystery Show," Wednesday, July 16.¬ 

* Lobsterbake day trip and New York style entertainment, Thursday, August 21.
