NP seniors going to Statehouse rally

NORTH PROVIDENCE - Members of the Salvatore Mancini Resource & Activity Center, led by Executive Director Karen Testa will attend a rally at the Statehouse tomorrow, Thursday, May 15.

The purpose of the rally is to request the General Assembly to oppose Gov. Donald Carcieri's proposed budget cuts, which Testa asserts would have a negative impact on seniors.

The rally will be held at the Statehouse Rotunda at 2:45 p.m. Transportation is available by calling 231-0742.
