Memorial Day celebration at Maplehill Park

BURRILLVILLE - Residents of Mapleville are invited to the Maplehill Mobile Home Park for the residents association's old-fashion Memorial Day celebration on Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The rain date is May 18.

There will be a flag dedication, and snacks and drinks for sale.

A doll carriage parade of decorated wagons and bicycles offers prize ribbons in age categories up to 5 years old, 6-10 and 11-14. The parade will be held from the recreational field at 61 Hillside Drive. Snacks and drinks will be for sale. Entry forms are available at the park office, Monday-Thursday, 2-6 p.m.
