Bucket Brigade hits the streets in town this Saturday
CUMBERLAND - The Boys & Girls Club of Cumberland-Lincoln will hold its 13th annual Bucket Brigade this weekend at locations in Cumberland and Lincoln.
Volunteers will be out Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. collecting donations for the club, at the following locations.
In Cumberland: Chapel Four Corners, corner of Diamond Hill and Angell roads; Broad Street at Ann & Hope; the intersection of Angell and Mendon roads; and the area of Nate Whipple Highway and Manville Hill and Mendon roads.
In Lincoln, club volunteers will be collecting at the intersection of Smithfield and Higginson avenues.
The local police departments will be partnering with the club, and officers will be at most locations for traffic control and to conduct a seat belt education and awareness campaign.
Volunteers are always welcome. Call the club at 333-4850. All money collected will be used to support youth programs for the club's 3,050 members.
