Wilson H. Tarble - WakefieldWilson H. “Bill” Tarble of Wakefield died Sept. 7, 2009, at the age of 80. Most recently a resident of Green Hill Beach, Wakefield, Mr. Tarble, who was born in Rutland, Vt., also lived in Scituate and Woonsocket. He was the husband of the late Joan Harris Tarble and the former husband of Doris (Courtemanche) Tarble of Woonsocket. A graduate of Bryant College, Mr. Tarble spent most of his professional career employed by Union Paper Company and the Foxon Packaging Company of Providence. He was a Navy veteran. He leaves four children, Douglas Tarble of Bolivia, N.C., Patricia Belanger of Boynton Beach, Fla., Nancy Stokes of Woonsocket and James Tarble of Yuba City, Calif.; and three stepdaughters, Cheryl (Lee) Nelson of South Carolina and Michelle NeSmith and Bethany Lizotte, both of Cranston. He also leaves 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Tarble at The Winfield and Sons Funeral Home, 571 West Greenville Road, Scituate, Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at 6 p.m. All those who knew and loved him are welcomed to come to celebrate his life.
