R.I Senior Softball League crowns playoff champions

They battled through weather all season, with an unprecedented 12 weeks of rainouts, but the Rhode Island Senior Softball league almost managed to complete all of its games.

In the B-1 Division, no final champion was crowned because wet weather forced cancellation of the title series between CVS and Stingers. The Valley Breeze was the regular season champion.

In the A-1 Division, previously completed, My Cousin Vinny was the regular season champion, but fell to Action Auto parts in the championship layoffs.

In the B-2 Division, the playoff champion is Joyeria Italia, which defeated Woodmansee Insurance to take the crown. Woodmansee unloaded in the first game of the best of three series, played in one day, and won 22-12, but could not get its offense untracked the rest of the way as Joyeria Italia took the next two, 8-7 and 9-4, to claim the crown.

Clark and Sons won the regular season championship.
