NSYSA players ripping the nets with goals
NORTH SMITHFIELD - The youngsters had their scoring shoes on Saturday, piling in goals during the North Smithfield Youth Soccer Association games at the North Smithfield Elementary School fields.
In U-8 coed action, Comtorgage got two goals from Pasquale Camastro and one from Elizabeth Dagesse and posted a 3-2 win over Stanley Tree Service. Kyle Alves and Michael Belcher scored for Stanley, and game MVPs were Camastro, Jack Campbell, Alves and Belcher.
Cade Curran popped in five goals to lead Chamberland and Company to a 6-2 win over Hamel & Newton. Andrew Cabral had his team's other score. Ryan Andreoni had both of his team's scores and shared MVP honors with Meaghan Marcoux.
New England Self Storage downed Beauchemin Lumber, 4-2. Matt McGarry, two, Madison Reynolds and Jackson Lynch scored for New England, and MVPs were Connor Huntley and McGarry. Al-Linh Nguyen and Jack Puccetti had Beauchemin's goals.
Dr. Laroche's Mighty Choppers went on a scoring spree, ripping home nine scores in a 9-0 win over European Custom Casework. Bryan DeCelles, four, Katherine Casanova and Jackson Laferriere, two each, and Alyssa Neri scored for the winners, and MVPs were Nathaniel Limoges and Alyson Paux.
Beef Barn ate up Sports Systems Custom Bags, 5-0. Sean Poisson and Evan Gravel, two each, and Kaelyn Helm scored for Beef Barn, and MVPs were Cole Dubois and Jake Christie. MVPs for Sports Systems Custom Bags were Nolan Boucher, Allan Villatoro and Maxwell Bischoff.
In Boys U-10 Division action, BoDee's Circle of Music and Spool of Design played to a 2-2 tie. Jack Losardo and Alex Thurley scored for BoDee's, and MVPs were Thurley and Aidan Almeida.
D'Agostino's Seal Coating smoothed over United Rentals, 4-2. Michael Fernandes, two, Ryan Suttmeier and Kyle Dean scored for the winners, and MVPs were Suttmeier and Evan Frieberger.
Above All Roofing got three goals from Shane Reilly and two each from Ryan Deslauriers and Justin DeCelles, and downed Darveau Land Surveying, 7-4. Michael DeRonde, two, Julian Casanova and Noah Darveau scored for the surveyors. MVPs were DeCelles, Deslauriers, Reilly, Stephan Turcotte and Jacob Amato.
During action in the Girls U-10 Division, Cote's Auto Body and Pro Products Web Design put on a defensive battle, with Cote's taking a 1-0 decision on Kate Louro's goal. MVPs were Jennah Lough, Caysea Anderson, Madison Wholey, Leah Huntley and Sydney Thepngone.
Stanley Tree Service took a 4-2 decision over Coffee and Cream. Celeste Gambardella had a huge game for the winners, scoring three times while Lauren Cloutier added one. Rita Marcotte and Alexis Labelle scored for their team. MVPs were Rachel Palazini and Katie Grist.
During Girls U-12 Division, Coffee and Cream beat Dan Couture's Trophy Hutch, 4-2. Cassie Malo, two, Nicole Turcotte and Miss Cianci scored for the winners, and MVPs were Catherine Sherman and Samantha Demers. For the trophy team, Ellyn Naradowy and Emily Sheridan scored and MVPs were Rowan Lanier and Brigid Murphy.
Stanley Tree Service edged MFL USA Inc., 2-1. Emily Sheridan and Brigid Murphy scored, and MVPs were Gelsomina Gambardella and Julia Kasanovich. Faith Jacobsen had her team's score, and MVPs were Nicole Turcotte and Amy Colvin.
In Boys U-12 Division games, Leeway True Value put away Law Offices of Aram P. Jarrett, 3-1. William Daniels, two, and Adam Carey scored for the winners and shared MVP honors. For the lawmen, Jake Coutinho had the goal and shared MVP with Brian Dansereau.
Chelo's got goals from Chris Matulaitis and Brayden Girard and beat Chelo's, 2-1. Miles Fontaine was MVP.
In U-14 Coed Division play, Senator Tassoni beat Stanley Tree Service, 5-1. Nick Benz, two, Dylan Naradowy, Beth Contildes and Matthew Middleton scored for the winners, and MVPs were Benz and Derek Kruzan. Alex Laferriere had his team's goal and MVPs were Justin Economos and Michaela Brodeur.
Navigant Credit Union edged Pro Products Web Design, 3-2. Adam Destefano had all three of his team's goals and shared MVP with Jason Smith. Matt Meagher and Jess Lafleur scored for the designers and Dale Caouette and Tara Paux were MVPs.
