Chamber plans annual golf outing

LINCOLN - The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual golf tournament on Monday, Sept. 21, at the Metacomet Country Club, 500 Veterans Memorial Parkway, East Providence.

Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch and a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Dinner, awards and raffles will follow golf.

Cost is $1,600 per foursome, which includes lunch, dinner, 18 holes of golf, a cart, a tee sponsorship and a listing in the program book. Individual golfers receive the same minus the tee sponsorship, and every participant receives a $50 gift certificate to the Metacomet Pro Shop.

Golfers are invited to have a free neck massage to loosen up before teeing off. In addition, all golfers receive one entry to win one of two trips to Las Vegas or the Azores. ¬ 

The Las Vegas trip for two includes round trip airfare from Providence to Las Vegas, four nights at the Flamingo Hotel and round trip transfers from the airport to the hotel The trip is being provided by Travel Advisors International.

The Azores trip for two is for a six day stay at the Lince Azores Hotel and includes air fare.

There will also be a silent auction, penny social and a live auction.¬ 

Tee sponsorships are available for $150. In addition to your company name on the tee marker, each tee sponsor may place business cards in¬ tee markers on the sponsored hole. ¬
