Mr. and Mrs. Genesse celebrate their golden anniversary

LINCOLN - Guy A. and Suzanne M. (Fortin) Genesse celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 10. They renewed their wedding vows in the presence of their family at The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Providence on Oct. 4, followed by a private celebration.

The couple were married on Oct. 10, 1959 in St.-Come, Quebec, Canada.

Mr. and Mrs. Genesse have been longtime residents of Lincoln where they owned and operated a construction company for more than 30 years.

They are members of the Holy Spirit Parish in Central Falls where Mrs. Genesse is a eucharistic minister.

They are the parents of three children and have three grandchildren.
