Engagement - Gowett - DeTora

WESTBORO, Mass. - Cynthia Marie Gowett and Michael Peter DeTora announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Donna M. Ferrara of North Providence and Edward Gowett of Austin, Texas. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter DeTora of North Providence.

The future bride is a 2001 graduate of North Providence High School and a 2006 graduate of Eastern Michigan university. She is employed as a teacher in the Canton, Mass. School District.

The future groom is a 2001 graduate of North Providence High School and a 2005 graduate of Bryant University. He is employed as a property manager in North Providence.

The couple will wed on Oct. 16, 2010, at the Blessed Sacrament Church followed by a reception at Ocean Cliff in Newport.
