Alice D. Montanari - Woonsocket
Alice D. Montanari, 88, of Adams Street, Woonsocket, died Saturday, April 12, at Steere House in Providence.

She was the wife of the late Nello Montanari. Mrs. Montanari was born in Woonsocket and was a daughter of the late Arthur and Donalda (Allaire) Goulet. Mrs. Montanari was a secretary for the city of Woonsocket Planning Department, retiring in 1975. She loved gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. Mrs. Montanari leaves a son, William Montanari of Woonsocket; a brother, Alexander Goulet of Bellingham, Mass.; a sister, Jeannette Ledoux of Woonsocket; three grandchildren, William Montanari II of Temple, Texas, Kelly Ann Montanari-Whaley of Wakefield and Casey Marie Montanari of Narragansett; and four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Arthur Goulet and Irene Gauthier.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, Rathbun Street, Woonsocket.
