Aline G. Trudel - Woonsocket
Aline G. (Lavallee) Trudel, 84, of Huntington Avenue, Woonsocket, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at St. Antoine Residence in North Smithfield.She was the wife of the late Normand G. Trudel. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Palmyre (Lamoureux) Lavallee. She lived in Manville from 1991-2004 and in Woonsocket for the rest of her life. Aline was an employee for the Wash-A-Matic of Blackstone for 22 years before retiring in 1989. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Victories Ladies Guild in Woonsocket.
She leaves a son, Normand Trudel of Westbrook, Maine; two daughters, Lorraine Corey of Woonsocket and Gisele Bisson of Cumberland; three sisters, Yvette Lanagan of Great Falls, Va., Florette Pare of Cumberland and Claire Pierini of Pawtucket; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, Paul Trudel and four siblings, Gaston, Hector and Albert Lavallee and Janet Montanari preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 11 a.m. in All Saints Community Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Wrentham Road, Bellingham. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
