Eileen M. Cabana - Millville
Eileen M. (Logan) Cabana, 78, of Millville, Mass., passed peacefully into the kingdom of heaven May 17 in the arms of her husband and surrounded by her children.

Born Jan. 18, 1930, she was the beloved wife of Henry E. Cabana Jr. for 58 years. A lifelong resident of Millville, she was the daughter of the late Fire Chief Michael J. Logan and Katherine (Clark) Logan. Eileen worked as an operator for New England Telephone Company and as a cafeteria worker for Blackstone-Millville Regional High School. She was a member of the St. Monica’s Guild of St. Augustine Church and a member of the Millville Senior Citizens Center.

Besides having strong spiritual faith, her greatest joy was found in time spent with her family and her husband “Hank.” She was a generous and giving person who had a passion for reading novels, crocheting beautiful afghans and hooking rugs, and had a wonderful way of making others laugh. Her kind nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her and had the pleasure of having her in their lives. She leaves five children, Thomas M. Cabana of Farmville, Va., Nancy E. and her husband Mark Zagaglia of Blackstone, Patricia E. Robbins of Millville, Kathryn M. and her husband Fire Chief Michael Sweeney of Blackstone and Kevin Cabana and his wife Ann-Marie of Cumberland; a sister, Elizabeth (Logan) Heinz of Wrentham, Mass.; and was the beloved, proud “Nana” of 16 grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the James Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 38 Main St., Blackstone, Mass., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, Lincoln Street, Millville, Mass. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2-6 p.m.
