Muriel Desmarais - Woonsocket

Muriel (Desrosiers) Desmarais, 84, of Daytona Beach, Fla., formerly of Woonsocket, died June 1, 2009, in the Bridgeview Health Care Center in Florida.

She leaves her soul mate, Marc Gaurrin of Daytona Beach; a daughter, Gertrude Bourget of Daytona Beach; a son, Roland L. Desmarais of Woonsocket; a brother, Roland Desrosiers of Los Alamitos, Calif.; and two grandsons, a granddaughter and three great-grandchildren. She had lived in Florida for the past 16 years.

There will be a memorial Mass Nov. 29, 2009, at 11 a.m. in Precious Blood Church, Woonsocket.
