Richard C. Haerick - Warwick
Richard C. Haerick, 74, of Warwick passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009.He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Izzo) Haerick. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Richard and Marie (Demuyt) Haerick. Mr. Haerick was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion, #43 William Shields Post, Warwick. He had worked for Ward Baking Company of Pawtucket. He then worked for ITT Continental Baking of Framingham, Mass., as a production supervisor, retiring in 1994. Upon his retirement he worked part time for Avis Car Rental of Warwick. He leaves two sons, Richard Haerick of Cumberland and Ronald Haerick of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a daughter, Nancy Richard of Cumberland; a stepdaughter, Andrea Izzo of Warwick; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at 10 a.m. in Saint Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the O’NEILL Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road (Route 122), Cumberland.
