Rick Arel - Woonsocket

The beloved son, brother, uncle, father and grandfather will be missed dearly. He was born Aug. 3, 1959, in Woonsocket to Don and Helen (Renaud) Arel. His father, Don Arel and his maternal and fraternal grandparents preceded him in death. Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Helen Arel; son, David (Alexis) Arel; three grandchildren, Dylan Guajardo, Mason and Hailey Arel; his sister, Susan (Steve) Brittain; two nephews, Matthew and Timothy Brittain; his former wife and mother of his son, Susan Contreras with whom he had remained close friends; and his companion of seven years, his loyal dog, Damian, whom he cherished dearly.

Private services were held in San Antonio, Texas.
