NORTH SMITHFIELD - Mr. and Mrs. Kevin and Donna Curley announce the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Marie Curley, to William Michael Fleury, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo and Elizabeth Fleury of North Smithfield.

The future bride graduated from North Smithfield in 1999 and Rhode Island College in 2004. She is currently enrolled at Providence College and is a teacher in Cumberland.

Her fiance graduated from North Smithfield High School in 2003 and Bryant University in 2007. He is an accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Boston.

They are planning an Oct. 4 wedding.
