COVENTRY - Sts. John and Paul Church was the setting Sept. 8 for the wedding of Amy Lee Laboissonniere and Matthew E. Sousa. The Rev. Grenon officiated, and a reception followed at Quidnesset Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Audrey Laboissonniere of Coventry. She graduated from Coventry High School in 1998, and the Warwick Beauty Academy in 1999. She is a salon manager for J.C. Penney in Eden Prairie, Minn.

The groom is the son of Edward and Judith Sousa of North Providence. He graduated from La Salle Academy in 1997, and from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in 2001, master's degree in 2002, and doctorate in 2006. He is a senior research scientist at 3M in St. Paul, Minn.

Jennifer Tremblay was the matron of honor, and Laura Laboissonniere, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sue Rekas, Kelly Gibb, Emily Nevitt and Stephany Parry.

Kevin Wu and Gregory Sousa, brother of the groom, were best men. Ushers were Ryan Barlow, Jim Eakin, James Rich and Scott Woltman.

The couple took a Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon, and make their home in Eagan, Minn.
