LINCOLN - Stephanie Christine Paquette and Russell Bartlett Holt have announced their wedding engagement.

She is the daughter of Robert A. Paquette of Smithfield and the late Christine S. Paquette. He is the son of John W. Holt of Chelmsford, Mass., and Joanne M. Shaw of North Chelmsford, Mass.

The bride-to-be graduated from Burrillville High School in 1998, Community College of Rhode Island in 2000, and the University of Rhode Island in 2003 with a degree in journalism. She is employed by Business Wire in Boston as an editor.

Her fiance graduated from Chelmsford High School in 1997, Clarkson University in 2001, and received a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Virginia in 2003. He is employed by the Rhode Island Department of Transportation as a traffic engineer.

They are planning an Aug. 30 wedding.
