Rheaults celebrate 65 years of marriage

CUMBERLAND - Mr. and Mrs. Maurice and Gabrielle Rheault celebrated 65 years of marriage on Feb. 27. They were married at St. Cecilia Church in Pawtucket on Feb. 27, 1943.

They are the parents of Mance Ferland of North Kingstown and Jupiter, Fla., Robert Rheault of Providence and Boston, and Denise Every of Exeter. They are the grandparents of Jeffery Ferland, Greg Ferland, Daniel Rheault, Julia Rheault, Matthew Corson and John Every, and the great-grandparents of Alec, Will and Zachary Ferland.

Mr. Rheault was a real estate developer and general building contractor before retiring. He served on the Pawtucket Planning Commission for 13 years, and served as head of the commission for three years. He served as a real estate appraiser for the Rhode Island Department of Transportation's Right of Way division, and was named Chief Real Estate Appraiser for the state. He served as president of LeFoyer Club in Pawtucket, and is a member of the board of director's credit committee for Navigant Credit Union. In his retirement, he is a real estate agent with Coleman Realtors in Cumberland.

Mrs. Rheault served as president of the Notre Dame Women's Auxiliary and the St. Cecilia's Women's Club. She has been an active fund-raiser for the March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association.
