Bryant University to host World Trade Day

SMITHFIELD - Bryant University, 1150 Douglas Pike, will host World Trade Day on Friday, May 30, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is titled "Making the Move into Emerging Markets."

Participants are invited to learn from and network with leaders in business and government who have expertise in the emerging markets of the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Additional sessions will focus on quality assurance issues and turning a green business philosophy into new market opportunities.

The cost is $125 per person, which includes both keynote addresses, choice of morning and afternoon workshop sessions, a continental breakfast, luncheon, networking reception and a copy of "Earth: The Sequel-The Race to Reinvent Energy and Stop Global Warming," by Fred Krupp, president of the Environmental Defense Fund.
