PROVIDENCE - Bank Rhode Island has announced that Heather Grogan has been named manager of its Lincoln branch on George Washington Highway.

Grogan will be responsible for the daily operations of the branch, including customer service, staff management, deposit growth and business development.

She has been with BankRI for more than three years and served most recently as retail banking officer.

She previously served as manager of the bank's Smithfield location. Before joining BankRI, Grogan served as a branch manager for Bank of America.

She is a member of the North Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce and serves on the board of trustees for Greenville Public Library. She attended Rhode Island College, was raised in Lincoln and now makes her home in Pawtucket.
