hosted by the Blackstone Heritage Corridor at Slater Park, Pawtucket. The event, a marriage between geocaching and trash cleanup, is part of the BHC’s annual GO! Program. A group will meet at 8 a.m. at the Looff Carousel, 825 Armistice Blvd., and walk the grounds until 11 a.m. Participants are asked to bring their own gloves and a refillable water bottle. The run kicks off at Tolman High School, 150 Exchange St., Pawtucket. Kick stands up at 11 a.m. A party will be held at 1 p.m. at the Smithfield Elks Lodge, 326 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. The cost is $20 per person and includes lunch and a T-shirt. Rain or shine. Email

The eighth season of fresh organic vegetables are growing in the Daniels Garden. Other vendors will be on hand offering locally grown fruits and vegetables, grass-fed natural meats, goat milk soaps, gourmet foods, fancy fudge, and more.
