Enjoy the spirit of Christmas for two days at the 3rd annual "Very Special Christmas WaterFire Weekend" benefiting the Providence Rescue Mission. The 41 braziers in Waterplace Park Basin to Steeple Street will burn brightly, turning downtown into a winter wonderland the evenings of both Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14. Tree-lighting, caroling, Santa Claus and more.

at Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum, 101 Ferry Road, Bristol. Stroll through Blithewold’s illuminated gardens and greenhouse and join the carolers as they spread holiday cheer. Enjoy music by the Roger Williams University A-capella group along with cocoa and roasted marshmallows around a roaring bonfire in Blithewold’s Enclosed Garden.
